Cosmetic dentistry

If you have missing teeth or problems with cavities and you wish to improve your smile, cosmetic dentistry may be for you. We use porcelaine restorations which can help you to have a more beautiful youthful smile. [^]

Digital X-rays

  • Digital X-rays use 90% less radiation than traditional X-rays.
  • These X-rays allow us to magnify details to help us make a more precise diagnosis.
  • In one image, we can see the entire mouth, including your top and bottom jaws, all of your teeth, veins, nerves, etc.

Microabrasion

Microabrasion is a procedure that allows us to repair cavities on the surface, usually without anesthetics. [^]

VELscope®

The VELscope® is a new device for detecting cancerous lesions. During the exam, abnormal tissues would usually be detected.

It enables us to see irregularities, which appear as darker areas in contrast with healthy tissue.

The VELscope® was created to be used by dentists and/or dental professionals.

Teeth whitening

Teeth whitening is becoming more and more popular. There are several reasons why teeth can change colours. Such reasons include plaque accumulation, tartar, age, and lifestyle. Teeth can become discoloured if a person drinks coffee, tea, or red wine, or if a person smokes. Rediscover a brighter smile! [^]

Orthodontic treatment

Helps prevent or correct problems which may result from dental displacement. In some cases, orthodontic treatment can be used to prevent the removal of permanent teeth to make room for other teeth. [^]

Dental sealants to protect against tooth decay

Consists in first cleaning the pits and fissures of the tooth. Then a protective coating is applied. No anesthetics are required for this process. For teeth with sealants, there is a lower risk of cavities. [^]

Porcelain crowns and fixed bridges

Used to reinforce a tooth after a root canal treatment or a large cavity. [^]

Veneers

Can help re-align slightly crooked teeth and they can give you whiter teeth, thus leaving you with a radiant, more esthetically pleasing smile. [^]

Removable partial dentures

Used to replace a group of missing teeth to give you back your smile. [^]

Crown on implant

A dental implant is made of titanium and replaces the natural tooth root. First, the implant is placed into the jawbone in the location of the missing tooth. After the implant has had a chance to heal, the dentist places a crown on the root as though it were a natural root.

With dental implants, one or several missing teeth can be replaced with crowns or fixed bridges.

For patients who have removable dentures, implants can reinforce the denture to ensure that they are both effective and comfortable. [^]
